Apprenticeship & Youth Outreach Programs
The goal MsRWA’s apprenticeship program is to get more people
into the water/wastewater industry.
• To create a more knowledgeable workforce, at a faster than
traditional pace.
• To increase the passing rate of certification exams.
• To educate the public about water and wastewater personnel.
• To promote other water and wastewater opportunities, such as
managers, clerks, meter readers, maintenance crews, engineering
and GIS.
Non-Discrimination Policy
The Mississippi Rural Water Association will not discriminate against apprenticeship applicants or apprentices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information, or because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older. The Mississippi Rural Water Association will take affirmative action to provide equal opportunity in apprenticeship and will operate the apprenticeship program as required under Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations, part 30.
